Shrinking

Y'all, I am sorry to say I am shrinking.

Doctor's orders.

What does this mean? It means that I went grocery shopping and landed in 1978: quinoa, bulgar wheat, flax seed, and wheat germ.

(Care packages of cheese happily accepted to mitigate!)

At 5'9" in flats, I'm not that worried about it - but I regularly wear four and five inch heels (though not at shows, to the evident dismay of many - you never know when you're going to end up traipsing all over town, and I like to be comfortable for that).

I'm not wildly overweight - just enough that the doc wants me to start trying to pay attention to the intake and come down a little bit. I'm
trying to get into doing stuff with the Kinect and do yoga more regularly. I tend to do things like go skating or dancing more than "exercise."

Carol thought she was shrinking! She had her yearly physical last week, and a new nurse does her height and weight and says she's now 4' 9.5"! Of course, Carol believes her and tells all her friends. When she tells me, I say "No way" and measure her. She was at her usual just shy of 4' 11"
