Idiot me went looking for info on Elite Search and got my self a good spanking

Slowly dragging everything I need from the pc and I now know weekly backups are just not enough!

Thought I'd post this as the url in the thread above is a no no!! because so far I've got:

Trev.. Sorry to hear that shit.

My standard procedure for killing shit is to first of all try a system restore. If that doesnt get it then I fire up hijackthis and kill anything that looks suspicious and at the bottom level I go directly into the registry and kill anything I don't recognize.

anyway, I pulled the page that got you in through a text browser and that page looks like it fires off several auto download opportunities (not including whatever they pass in through several included .js file)

Isn't it nice of them to describe their sites as:

content="A Family Resource Site. We have everything for dads, moms and kids. Everything regarding home, garden and living are being tackled on this site."
name=Description>


I don't know about anyone else, but the mainstreamers all claim that the adult operators are the one's doing all the scumware shit and I have never encountered this type of shit on adult sites (I know it is on some, I just have never hit it) but I hit it all the time when looking at mainstream shit. My daughter gets her Mom's computer nailed all the time through shit in geosites, angelfire, xanga and the like.

Fucking people who will trash a couple of grand worth of equipment to earn a fucking nickel on the download........... cockholsters every one :grrr:

Anyway, good luck with the clean up effort.

Ran the programs then did a reboot expecting to have to go into the reg but the dog never came back.


I've got everything I need from it now so I'm going to fuck on getting a clean OS in there...

icq is running on the lap top if anyone needs me, but it's really got to be important.

Got everything I needed off the hard drive then formated it

Came to install my OS and got a read error because of a tiny little scratch on the disk


So I've been off shopping this morning a got just what I needed a new OS

Having a fiddle, tweak and tinker with it now.













Plus memory sticks, a new dvd player, an mp3 player and some other very needed stuff
