Fired: CWShredder, adaware, Nortons, spybot search and replace at them and removed most of the shit but the machine wouldn't boot fully after the restart.

Going to grab what I need then mirror my OS from the spare pc(piece of shit) untill I get time to an XP install...

My standard procedure for killing shit is to first of all try a system restore. If that doesnt get it then I fire up hijackthis and kill anything that looks suspicious and at the bottom level I go directly into the registry and kill anything I don't recognize.

anyway, I pulled the page that got you in through a text browser and that page looks like it fires off several auto download opportunities (not including whatever they pass in through several included .js file)

I don't know about anyone else, but the mainstreamers all claim that the adult operators are the one's doing all the scumware shit and I have never encountered this type of shit on adult sites (I know it is on some, I just have never hit it) but I hit it all the time when looking at mainstream shit. Came to install my OS and got a read error because of a tiny little scratch on the disk :(


So I've been off shopping this morning a got just what I needed a new OS :)

Having a fiddle, tweak and tinker with it now.













Plus memory sticks, a new dvd player, an mp3 player and some other very needed stuff :blink:
