I wouldn't be Gonzo!! heh heh. I got my first computer and internet connection in 96 (14.4 wow was it blazing fast!!). I started my first website in 1994 and created my first search engine that same year while I was attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In 1995 I was hired by Quote.com and in 1996 was included in a cover story in US News. Was also mentioned in Money, Wall St Journal, plus dozens of other magazines and newspapers. We were the first to start online quotes and most of the major brokerage firms used our system. I retired from the online financial industry in 1998 when Quote.com was sold to Lycos and started my own web development company, which I later sold in 2002. I then started in this industry.
