I rememeber back in the day, if my memory sevres me correctly, Mike Ai and SweetT had a 100% rev share program together. Just saw one announced on a different board today and am wondering people's thoughts about the feasibility of that these days.

IMHO, i think it is definately a viable business practice.
Just think of all the traffic they will be sent from their affiliates looking to make 100% of up to a (i presume) $60 sale (3 month access for example). Im sure there will be consoles in place on the tours where the program operators can make up to $45 a pop from those sales which, is PURE profit

Didn't someone do a 110% or something really daft??
The upsells must be awesome. Mike or SweetT could fill us in. |

RobMac had one didn't he?
;-))) I know Sweet T and them had Club 100 I think it's doable, but with more people using popup blockers, it'd be tougher to make it economically feasible one way to do it, IMHO, is too have it as an amateur girl type site with multiple girls and then upsells to their own personal sites within that...otherwise, it would be very tough

Didn't Tam start one recently? Last I heard she was leaving the business completely, but I don't think it was in regards to failing, just other situations arose.

Damn.. I just assumed Club100 had gone by the wayside. That's been a long time since that was started.

It's an interesting business model and one to be considered. just seems it would be much harder these days given the increasing prevalence of pop-up blockers.

Club 100 did very well.
The biggest challenge is to convince webmasters you are not screwing them. Most did not get the concept. Upsells worked out very well. That and of course exit consoles. I am not sure if this model would be as successful with all the pop-up blockers out there now. |

Wow....Club100.....now that was fun.
Anyone that knows me knows that I hate partners because you usually end up being enemies when the project goes South....but MikeAI and I had a blast with this concept and now I would never hesitate to partner with him on anything. No, we were not the first....but then again I have never had an original idea in my life. heheheMikeAI is exactly right...the biggest problem was that webmasters did not trust the concept. They felt like their must be a catch and there never was. We made our money off of the exit consoles and the upsells. The Pop-Up blockers could hurt that concept now...unless you could find another revenue line because contrary to what people may think, the program does need to make some money somewhere ![]() --T |
