What kind of nation would you build?

The Democratic Republic of Dark Logic is a tiny, economically powerful nation, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million are known throughout the region for their efficiency and work ethic, as well as their general suspicion of leisure.

There is no government in the normal sense the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals juggles the competing demands of Commerce, Law & Order, and Defence. Income tax is unheard of. A healthy private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Woodchip Exports.

Voting is voluntary. Crime is a serious problem. Dark Logic's national animal is the cobra, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the powerand.

I tired to this but found it too limiting for my taste. I want a matriarchy, of course and the countries animal is male. Lol

This is a great concept and idea for marketing if it was enhanced better. A great concept for a site actually.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Defence, and Religion & Spirituality. The average income tax rate is 22%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Automobile Manufacturing.

Crime is a problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Ignis Fatuus Now's national animal is the parrot, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the sponge ball.

I'd make a country that's someplace warm, possibly a small island. Has 0% taxes, steals electricity (and cable) from neighboring countries, has a total population of 3. Me, my girl and a servant that's just happy to live there for free.

I'd fish all day long, and work all night long. Damn I'd be happy. The servant also would have a powerboat so he could go buy tax-free alcohol from other countries, and naturally food and stuff.
