Time Warner is planning to offer its vast customer base Voice-Over-IP phone calling via its cable and Internet networks in conjunction with MCI and Sprint.
Instead of plugging your phones into regular phone line jacks, you'll just hook them into your cable connection.
They're planning to offer unlimited local and long distance phone calling throughout the US for about $39.95 per month.

Only thing wrong with that is that the phone companies are already in place with cheaper plans.
