I wish I knew where my old year books from high school were. She was a year or two ahead of me in school. The name rings a bell, but I don't remember her.

There were several Barley's in town. All were well respected. My favorite school teacher was Ruth Barley. Wonder if she is any relation???

BTW, re: your post on Lee's board - IIRC, one of the reasons it was filed in small claims court was to force her to appear. She cannot send an attorney to represent her like she can in any other court.

So that could be the reason...

Did anyone from Oprano get served ??

If the serving of Lee is to do with the postings, then it would make a lot of sense for Oprano to be hit too...

Question... Does Lee being in Fl mean that she will have to bear the expense of flying to Cali for a small claims action ? Or does she just phone/mail it in?

Darci - did they state they served it to her at her apartment? I know when I served someone in GA for small claims, they actually had to describe her on the paperwork.

You guys see that she has posted the causes of action on LeeNoga.com. The only people who have that document are the court, us and the served defendant. We checked with the courts. You have to show ID and sign for a copy of the complaint. No one has done this as of close of business to day. She is lying when she said that someone went down to the courtroom and got a copy of the complaint, and then faxed it to her.
