Wow - what an eye opener. Late to the party but have been out of town. Sincerely - I was surprised at my results. I would have guessed either right ON the fence or a little to the right of it. Maybe it was those years of my dad force-feeding Rush down my throat that pushed me over the lefty edge? lol

Interesting things learned. I thought at least a few people would score higher on the authoritarian scale - regardless of our profession. We're remarkably all pretty much on the same side there.

We're incredibly balanced as a group between right and left wing economic beliefs here at Oprano. I perceived for some reason that it would be more right-wing oriented.

Of course, many of these beliefs are much more than just economic, they are also deeply philosophical. How much should a society spend to assist it's weakest* members? That is a question that transcends "economics".

* Substitute "least fortunate" for those on the far left.
