Here is mine

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...&X=7.25&Y=-0.62

Vick 02-28-2003 08:23 PM

Very interesting
http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...&X=3.88&Y=-1.64

however I was agree/disagree on most questions as opposed to strongly agree/disagree

Am very curious to see where other Oprano readers are according to this scale

PornoDoggy 02-28-2003 08:49 PM

Economic Left/Right: -4.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.00

SykkBoy 02-28-2003 08:52 PM

Hmmm
so I'm like close to frickiin Gandhi over here...

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...X=-2.00&Y=-2.62

Diamond Jim 02-28-2003 08:55 PM

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...&X=3.62&Y=-1.95

Looks like we were close, Vick....must be the book...hahaha

Who is going to go righter than MikeAI? :yowsa:

Ok, I am either a communistic anarchist or an anarchistic communist......

:)

RawAlex 02-28-2003 09:19 PM

Ha...

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...X=-0.75&Y=-3.90

So much for y'all pushing me over to the left... Barely off the center line...

I wonder if there is enough space over to the right to push Rush Limbaugh and still have room for Torone after that?

Vick, I had the same problem as you... many of the questions were VERY absolute, and honestly most people aren't all that "totally yes, totally no"... plus there were about 5 questions that I was looking for a box in the middle, sort of "doesn't really matter to me".

Alex

gigi 02-28-2003 11:57 PM

Here I am....

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...X=-1.75&Y=-5.13

Very interesting test Mike!

And some great info on the last page there.

RichC 03-01-2003 12:14 AM

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...h&X=9.00&Y=1.54

Economic Left/Right: 9.00
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 1.54

Rox 03-01-2003 12:28 AM

Economic Left/Right: -3.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.62

To the right and below Ghandi -- I guess that's not SO bad, considering I'm a woman and all...

The wording of some questions did indeed warrant a more neutral option for me, too.

Mike AI 03-01-2003 01:11 AM

I think RichC maybe the offical Oprano Nazi!! :heil:

We still ain't got Torone's results... I suspect he might make RichC look like a softy... :groucho:

Alex

RichC 03-01-2003 01:30 AM

I dunno if I'd say that
but I've always been way right when it comes to economics.

It's the only correct place to be! :ttth!:

Zebra 03-01-2003 04:01 AM

Sykk - I'm right by you and Ghandi
http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...X=-3.12&Y=-2.46
Economic Left/Right: -3.12
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.46

Almighty Colin 03-01-2003 05:04 AM

Economic Left/Right: 2.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.87

Almighty Colin 03-01-2003 05:06 AM

Keep adding them. Next we'll I'll make a chart as to who is most similar/dissimilar in political views at Oprano as per this chart.

Almighty Colin 03-01-2003 05:08 AM

CJ,

I think I'm closest to you so far, Math later ;-)

cj 03-01-2003 06:41 AM

LOL
and not THAT far from alex

I'm trying really hard to keep up with this thread, but the whole graph with the 4 corners is the only bit that makes sense ... I don't know what a left wing right wing authora ... something even means ...

in australia
liberal party = white collar
labor party = blue collar
every 4 years of so they swap over so one can fuck the country a different way and 'fix' the fuck ups of the last guys. its compulsory to vote in australia, so technically donald duck should be our prime minister.
after the ballots are counted by the church volunteers, a few sheep get sheered and then we crack a fosters over the new prime ministers head and he goes back to the farm to do the milking ...

looking forward to the maths ;-)
and any additional perspective of wtf it means!

OldJeff 03-01-2003 07:35 AM

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...&X=4.12&Y=-1.08

My only complaint is the wording of many of the questions

Too much "Always" - Always does not exist in the context they are using it.

OldJeff 03-01-2003 07:45 AM

I thought this one was interesting

Test

http://www.3pc.net/matchmaker/quiz.html

Results

http://www.3pc.net/matchmaker/rank.html?a=...v=2&w=2&x=2&y=1

1) Constitution Party 84%
2) Libertarian Party 79%
3) Reform Party 58%
4) Republican Party 47%
5) Natural Law Party 32%
6) Green Party 32%
7) Democratic Party 21%

Torone 03-01-2003 08:06 AM

Actually, I'm right in the middle of the right, on the baseline...

Torone 03-01-2003 08:12 AM

Test

http://www.3pc.net/matchmaker/quiz.html

Results

1) Constitution Party 84%
2) Libertarian Party 79%
3) Reform Party 58%
4) Republican Party 47%
5) Natural Law Party 32%
6) Green Party 32%
7) Democratic Party 21%

According to that one, I'm strongly Libertarian (88%) with deeply-rooted Constitutionalist (71%) and Republican (50%) leanings....

UncleJimmy 03-01-2003 01:04 PM

Economic Left/Right: -1.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.44

I kinda thought I'd be somewhere close to the middle....

gimme a few years and I'll be ghandi

Almighty Colin 03-01-2003 03:15 PM

I did this one too...
1) Libertarian Party 89%
2) Constitution Party 56%
3) Natural Law Party 44%
4) Green Party 44%
5) Reform Party 44%
6) Democratic Party 33%
7) Republican Party 33%

I think these tests are flawed if Torone is anywhere in the middle.

Almighty Colin 03-01-2003 03:16 PM

CJ, Math on Monday. I hope more people takethe test and give results so we have more to compare. I'll make charts. ;-)

LOLOL CJ, sounds much like our elections here in Canada! Crack the Fosters!!! (Labatts in our case...hehe)

I took the second test too:
1) Democratic Party 77%
2) Green Party 69%
3) Natural Law Party 62%
4) Libertarian Party 46%
5) Republican Party 46%
6) Reform Party 46%
7) Constitution Party 15%

I should be out hugging trees.....

*KK* 03-01-2003 04:22 PM

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...&X=1.25&Y=-1.74

Economic Left/Right: 1.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.74

Regardless of how the questions were phrased, everyone was asked the same questions, so there is a great deal of relevance in the scoring ...

*KK* 03-01-2003 04:26 PM

Goodness, I've just realized Serge and I are so close we could each have one leg in the same pair of pants!

KK,
I can think of better places where we can cross the legs
;-))))

Ironhorse 03-01-2003 04:34 PM

Wow I'm much farther left than most Opranoids care to go..

http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalc...X=-5.12&Y=-4.05

Winetalk.com 03-01-2003 04:40 PM

you and gigi...
bunch of commies!
;-)))

Ironhorse 03-01-2003 05:05 PM

Communist indoctrination is hard to shake off :cdance:

gigi 03-01-2003 05:16 PM

Yup, and you better warn Torone....we're heading a HUGE anti-war demonstration (sponsored by your local Communist Party) coming soon to a town near youuuuuuuuuu! :nyanya:

Sharpie 03-01-2003 07:14 PM

First Test:

Economic Left/Right: -3.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.18

1) Libertarian Party 64%
2) Constitution Party 64%
3) Reform Party 55%
4) Democratic Party 36%
5) Republican Party 36%
6) Natural Law Party 36%
7) Green Party 36%

It appears I cant tell the difference between a Liberatarian and a Constitutionist........ same goes for Democrat and Republican - Maybe that is why I am a Independent most of the time...

cj 03-01-2003 07:25 PM

1) Democratic Party 90%
2) Natural Law Party 80%
3) Green Party 80%
4) Reform Party 50%
5) Libertarian Party 40%
6) Republican Party 20%
7) Constitution Party 20%

LMAO

I don't think I can do this one accurately ... I answered all the questions from an 'aussie smut peddler' perspective LOL

I answered all 3 of these questions with 'increase' because that's what would benefit MY country so my results are whacked.

subsidies for foreign democracies.
military defense of other nations.
US commitment to the United Nations.

I don't necessarily think those 3 things would be better for america but it would sure help me out ;-)

originalheather 03-01-2003 07:27 PM

Wow

Economic Left/Right: -0.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.82

LOL...

Lisa 03-01-2003 07:31 PM

NFC what it means, but in the interests of Colin's analyses...

Economic Left/Right: 1.00
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.10

originalheather 03-01-2003 07:37 PM

1) Libertarian Party 89%
2) Constitution Party 56%
3) Democratic Party 39%
4) Republican Party 39%
5) Green Party 39%
6) Reform Party 33%
7) Natural Law Party 28

I'm shocking myself today. I THOUGHT I was a Republican...maybe I should pay attention to the news sometimes.

Cool,

Keep them coming. I've written the basic program to crunch all these numbers. The one with two numbers; economic left/right and libertarian/authoritarian numbers.

Data coming Monday Morning.

"For the Sake of Oprano Science". (Rolo)
