LOL hell I gotta own it or its gotta own me...I chose to own it....I can laugh at myself I was funny looking...Ya its a ROYAL Pain in the ass but in less than 3 weeks Im 95% recovered so in the grand scheme of things it was minor...thankfully.

I can tell ya this though when the feeling comes back it is painful....felt like someone punched me in the jaw...and a 2 day headache add to it the steroid therapy trashed my immune system so I got the flu ....fuck going on 3 weeks sick sucks....

Hey the way I see it I got one life...Im gonna enjoy it....highs and lows.

compared to the spinal surgery the Bell's Palsy was a cake walk....and while yes it IS a serious condition, it's also WAY less threatening than it used to be a few people were concerned that my making light of it would be offensive to people who have gotten permanent nerve damage from BP not one person wrote me who actually was offended. Not that I care if I offend anyone LOL....Im just enjoying life and playin the hand I was dealt the best I can.

When my mother got her Bells, my father's first thought was she just had a stroke and rushed her to the hospital. The facial muscle slackness stayed with her for close to 6 months, and she also had quite a bit of pain from it. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Take care of yourself Mike and I am hoping for a speedy recovery.

Personally, I think a little levity when dealing with these issues is a GOOD thing.
Not only for the rest of us, but for the person dealing with the issue.
Fuck'em, you dealt with the issue in an upbeat and happy mood. My hat's off to you.
