This one took me a couple of days to optimize for speed, but I think I did well:

Threw every trick in my book at it.

Did the SEO and submission too (hell, I did the whole thing except for the content) and it's all over the first page on Google for all the search queries for it that matter

Hand coded markup all the way, took obscene amounts of work, I'll never do THAT again for a client, even family like him

It was for one of the members here. Knocked down the number of queries going on dramatically.

I would post a link to the original that I started with but I would have to do some work to get it pointing back at all the old pages involved.

The site is coming along nicely, I check on it periodically to see the progress. Building up a nice library of clips. I have something in the works in that regard. I'll get in touch when I have the content in hand.
