My crazy events.

I had to stay longer after the show in Atlanta to finish up with some business I am from the area and I have friends and family here. I thought it would be a great time to kill two birds with one stone. Well the stone came back around and hit me in the head.
After the show...
Event 1) I am over at a friends place sleeping when all hell breaks loose. I hear screaming and yelling. I go upstairs to find out what is going on and I see my friends boyfriend covered in blood and holding his chest. She is freaking out and crying. I told her to grab some towels and I called 911 well it turns out that he was stabbed. I thought he was going to die in front of me. The cops and ambulance arrive and I have to fill out a report. They made me sit outside freezing my ass off while trying to figure out what happened. Get to bed around 6 am.

Event 2)I am downtown talking with some potential candidates to do marketing with Oprano...and then biz is done so I go and hang out with another friend. We decide to take the entire bar party to another location and proceed to drink and have fun. Well some guy has this great idea that it is cool to have people slap him in the face. I would not do it so he HIt..not slap >>HIT me in the face. I beat the ever loving shit out of him. I do not like hitting but he had it coming, I am very skinny and my arms are like noodles but you just do not hit girls. I get back to my friends place and see that he had fell face first on the side walk and I take him to the hospital. Get to sleep around 7am

Event3)I go to another party in Atlanta and all is well have a great night talked to a ton of people and went back to my friends place and crash. 2am. Wake up to find that there is no gas so I am stuck. I was stuck with out internet service.

I take a chance and hit the roads in hopes to find some for my empty tank. I found gas at QT with a line that was about a 45 min wait. I had to turn my car off and coast. I pulled in just when the last few pumps were going out. I only put 20 in...that would be enough for me until the next few days. I made it just in time!

I am scared to leave Atlanta ... but I have been around some really crazy events since being here. I have also made some great connections and went to a few great parties.

I hang around a lot of people and go to a ton of parties and events so I am always around the crazy stuff. I am thankful that I was the DD for most of the weekend. I had my fill of alcohol at the Atlanta Show.
I only tend to drink more when I am around safe people and I know that I do not have to drive anywhere. So my alcohol consumption stays pretty low for the most part. It is only when Gonzo is around that we get smashed..lol..

I have seen some serious consumption of alcohol since being here, I know of a few people that need to take this 12 step into consideration.

Have you been back since? I have not but I did hit up the pony after going to Vine.
That could have been better..I think I am going to stick with the Oasis...especially if Jamie is there.

Just need to figure out what shift she works for sure.

In town these days I would definitely stick with Oasis....unless in the mood to head downtown to do the Cheetah with all the conventioneers. Haven't been there in at least a decade.

I t has been awhile for me as well going to the cheetah...had lots of fun last time! Maybe she will be there on Thursday night..that is when we went right? Or friday?

Almost everyone kills their livers at shows. I admire those who are in recovery, and I know several, who can go to the shows and NOT fall off the wagon.

Everywhere you go someone is putting a drink in your hand, literally in some cases. In Atlanta, there were open bars pretty much 24/7.

The real key is can you drink, be social, but still maintain enough control to get business done, maintain everyone's respect and not do something totally stupid. We've seen some epic FAILs over the years. Ketchup head comes immediately to mind. The chair tossing incident at the Westin in Miami is another. Cocaine on the freaking center bar at Mandalay is another.

Some people forget they are there to do business and that they are representing their employer and lose their freaking minds, especially in Vegas.

The Atlanta show was mostly principles in the business, decision makers. Not a whole lot of hired hands. I saw lots of drunk people having a good time, and everyone was mostly well behaved. I did see some things that make me raise an eyebrow, but nothing I wouldn't simply write off to either the participant being naive or simply having bad judgement.

Well, other than the Buckwheat incident, but then we kinda suspected you could take buckwheat out of the hood, but you couldn't take the hood out of buckwheat.

I think some people tested it in Atlanta.

Liz is right, it was weds. cuz it was first night I moved down to the hotel.

So it is very likely she works weeknights on the early shift.

Hmmm....wonder if she'd do a shoot...
