Latest Parked Domain profit center

I guess it had to happen sooner or later, but here it the latest one.

I syndicate blogs from various people into some of the splogs I run. As is typical these days, these domains sometimes expire or just die.

Well, today I found one that had expired, and has ended up with the DNS set to parked.com and owned by "Belize Domain WHOIS Service Lt". Not unusual to see park pages, I barely blink and I am assuming that most surfers presented a parking page just turn tail and run.

The new twist? These parked domains now return a valid RSS feed, with links that go directly to their pay per click programs. So their stuff gets syndicated and run out onto a number of blogs I run.

Nice move. Too bad your feeds are ugly and stand out like a sore thumb.

splogs: a nice way of saying either "spam blogs" or blogs made up of other site's feeds.
