I was just curious if anyone here also does mainstream sites.

I do recipe, gardening, and metaphysical sites in addition to doing my adult sites.

I find it to be a welcome deversion...sometimes I just get tired of looking at naked people

Adult webmasters have a pretty "Liberal" view of mainstream. This question gets asked frequently, and the responses are both predictable and questionable at best. My definition of mainstream is something you can discuss at the dinner table with aunt Edna. I believe you will find this is not the case around here. It is the holy grail of porn to get out of it and become "accepted". Kind of like Joe Kennedy. But the fact is that we are purveyors of dirty pictures and if you even use the term "mainstream", you are not.

I agree with your Aunt Edna scenerio. I have never said I was getting out of porn, it's just a welcome deversion for me to do something else. As for the "we are purveyors of dirty pictures" I don't think everyone that does porn is. The pics never did much for me to be honest, but I do like a good story.

not sure where you get your facts from, but myself and the other adult industry people I work with have tons of sites in various niches of the mainstream world

I do a lot of travel/vacation and insurance news/resource sites, and a few electronics deals sites...and I would venture to say at least 25% of my income comes from mainstream

my dad and I also work together on a lot of online travel stuff....we do quite well with it actually
