I would say all of the above. Relevance being the most important. We who actually work and support this business have no interest in outdated business theories that don't work on the net any longer. I looked up old timer and it seems it is not a synonym for rich. I am sure there are tons of people who are more recent and have made a shit pot of money. I laugh when I hear the term old timer being used on someone who has been in the biz for what....ten years? I hate to say it, but I made my first successful soft core porn video in 1982. I left the adult business and concentrated on more mainstream entertainment until the internet gave us the opportunity to end run esurient distributors in the nineties. Now that was a time for sure. Lots of people who were around then are still here. Many more have crashed. As for no one caring, I am not quite sure that is the case. If you are still standing, then it means you have cracked it. Lots of the paper tigers could never survive today if they were just starting out and a lot of their "advice" no longer applies. So congratulations on a long internet life.
