My word on the bannings and incidents (for whatever it is worth)

First, let me state that I am not a person that agrees with bannings either...the only time I like to see people banned is when someone registers a fake nick and abuses people for no reason, that is cowardly and deserves to be gone

When I said earlier I was leaving Oprano, I meant it the same way I mean it most of the time, and that is just that I would be leaving for a while to let things settle and come back when the dust cleared. I knew they route those guys were in the process of taking and I didn't want to be any part of it, I left GFY for a good reason and while I didn't appreciate some of the comments that were made in my direction earlier today, i also know it wouldn't have offended me so badly if it wasn't partially true at least some time in my past.

The past few months have been difficult for me, working 12-14 hours days to build up a reputation in this biz as a solid, knowledegable webmaster that is serious about business and ready to make some money...I feel like I have achieved that, and finally some important people and companies in this biz know my name and respect my position, so when some people that have been in this biz slightly longer than I have bash me and poke fun, it hits a little harder than I would like it, and while I don't feel that people like that should be censored, I also don't think that if they were secure enough in themselves and their life they would do that.

1 year ago, anyone that saw me on GFY would know that was a negative asshole who thought he knew it all, that person is gone...I purposely put myself in a position on March 6th 2006 to start from scratch and learn everything there is in the paysite realm once again....and with starting from scratch comes stupid questions and looking like a newbie, because the times I have done the paysite thing before I was arrogant and thought I could do it all myself, and I learned the hard way. I can promote the hell out of YOUR program and make you good money, but I am just getting the hang of promoting my OWN paysite and making myself money....and since I sold everything else that was making me money off, I am now working for myself, promoting myself (and my wife)....

The only thing I ask of the assholes of the board, is respect me and what I am trying to do, and poke at it and push buttons on it, if you can't respect me, just don't talk to me, I don't need it and don't have time for it, which is why I just left this morning instead of fighting about it....I don't mind the assholes, just show some respect for someone that is working hard to be were you were years ago...and ANYONE that knows me personally knows how damn hard I am working at all this, and if you dedicated your life to making something work.

wouldn't it bother you if some people that made millions at the same thing you are doing pushed and poked at you while you tried to make it happen, and then when they have you on the floor because you are pissed they kick you and tar and feather you? that is how I felt....call me thinned skinned, call me whatever, that is just how I am.

I am asking Bishop for the unbanning of Anthony and Nick, because I think they have the professionalism and respect to understand my position and treat me and others accordingly, because they too were once in the same position. If I am wrong I am sorry, but I don't think I am.

do you want to know a secret to shutting people down who are trying to piss with you on a message board?? take the high ground. be professional. don't respond... don't fan the flames. don't attack knowing its going to draw the aggression of someone who is just looking for a few moments of free entertainment at your expense.

most importantly, don't take shit so seriously. you are not working any harder than anyone else ever did. you are not special, you are not less of a person, you are not more. you are one more guy struggling to make money like everyone else is and has. mike, myself and many others quit this biz because it is a massive struggle on every level and its a business that demands you spend the majority of your time fighting fires and stressing about life and death issues rather than focusing on actual growth. serge finally got tired of waking up in the early a.m. to start the shave machine. everyone has been there. it wasn't easy for anyone and it isn't getting easier. i worked 14hrs or more a day, 7 days a week for quite a few years until i burned out completely... you are not doing yourself any favors by thinking you are going to get sympathy for how hard you work. we have all been there and we know its not easy.

wow, you took what I said COMPLETELY wrong. I would NEVER demand respect out of anyone, ever. In fact I hate it when people demand respect from me for whatever reason they feel is important, that is just silly.

as for carrying myself. I try to be the most articulate and professional person as possible, if that doesn't call for respect, than I give up...and to be honest, respect is a bad word to use, I just want courtesy, the same courtesy I give others.....and while I am on the topic, respect is something I give EVERYONE, no matter what...I feel that in life as long as you live it and don't hurt other humans, you will be a truely good person, and not hurting other means respecting life, no matter when and where, and I try my best to do that...

There is a whole new generation of smart entrepreneurs that need to be cultivated and that is where the business will come from. Not from the cowboys who tell when we stories that are entertaining but have zero relevance in today's world.

There are those who succeed, but there are many, many more who crash and burn. But the opportunities are enormous and this board has the opportunity to cash in on the new talent that is just coming onstream at the moment.
