The White House today also will announce the resignations of Education Secretary Rod Paige, Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham and Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman. And of course we already had John Ashcroft and Commerce Secretary Don Evans.

It's a major house cleaning, I am expecting to see a bunch of ultra conservative neo-christians put into key positions. Those "faith based" initiatives are going to get a chance to live.

It sort of sucks that all these people are lining up to resign AFTER the vote, not before it. I am sure that resignations like Powell's would have changed some votes.
