We have been in contact with several programs in the last few months regarding their affiliates using our stolen content. One would think, with how indignant they get when someone steals THEIR content, that they would be pleased to punish these asses. But what do they really do?

Dick squat. We've been flat out ignored by at least 4 sponsors, and Sunnydollars DID suspect one person's account, but apparently they're going to turn him back on again. How the hell does that work?

I guess making money from content thieves is better for them than shutting them off. I mean, I know our content converts, but it would be nice to not have to chase these fuckers down every time. It's always the same people doing it on the same freehosts. And they STILL manage to get affiliate accounts?

It's too bad these people aren't willing to be more helpful because it would certainly go a long way to helping EVERYONE a little more if they were.

Ok, end of rant.

Sorry to hear that.

Have you tried contacting their hosts? That has typically worked for me better than contacting the douchebag sponsors who generally could give a rats ass.

They are on freehosts for the most part. And it always seems to be the same handful of assholes using the same content sets, oftentimes promoting the same sponsor. We have contacted the freehosts but we are just going to start slapping lawsuits.. We've had enough.

Yes they are. And believe me I think it's time they are held accountable. I'm really tired of being continually ignored, especially when most of the affiliates using stolen content are cheating in OTHER ways too.

LM, while I agree sponsors should help you out, let me side step that issue a moment to say that a more effective strategy is using the DMCA and if the free host doesn't take the content off within (forget, 48 hours or 72 hours) the free hosts's uplink is required to terminate the entire free host if they don't take action.
