Yes, its normal. The majority of the time the woman pose for pics, answer emails, do the cams show, etc.
The significant other does the "webmastering" the html, preparing the photos, the tech for for the cam shows, the traffic trading and board posting.
HOWEVER---there are MANY woman that do this ALL themselves There are more and more woman figuring out they can do it for themselves too.
Sometime the men do not even want to woman involved, they just want her to take picss and keep out of it.
A few times for the Certified Amateurs review the men call and when I say I want to talk to the woman they have told me, "oh she doesn't talk to anyone". So there are so situations of men controlling the site and woman for that matter.

I think sometimes the women dont want to talk to people in this industry for the simple fact that most are fucking scum.
You have content providers that are more concerned with fucking their models than shooting good content, you have webmasters (male) who contact girls via their whois and try to partner up or make a deal etc but they end up being a fucking scum bag, ive seen it done hundreds of times since I got in this biz.

To be honest, I filled all the stuff for Certified Amateur, I printed whatever I had to print and completely stopped the process when I read I had to call someone... Calling someone for me is a real nightmare. I despise phones and feel all wierd and get too nervous talking on the phone. It makes me steddle. So already my English is not perfect, I know I won't fully understand the person at the other end because from a state to another there is always some kind of accent, and I know I will steddle and I have a french accent so the other one will make me repeat. Too complicated and stressfull for me. I let Joe do all the phone calls.

Around here its 50-50. An even distribution of the labour and an even distribution of the wealth.
my most pleasant days were when I was running amateur site back in 1996...good ole days..no content, no nothing,m I had to have 3 some with my ex and babysitter just to have pics on my site!

I'm a girl and do it all for my site..Html, cam tech, pc tech, e-mails, traffic,graphics (some of them)..Hubby is a stunt cock from time to time.. but other than that i prefer he stay the fuck out of my business and not touch my computers.. <_<
I used to be one of those girls who only posed for the pics and my ex did everything else, including blowing ALL the money gambling!
Thanks to MikeAI and Billy, I got smart moved on, and have been doing all my own word since 1999. I learned the hard way, a girl can't always depend on a man. I just wish I would have realized it before and had some of the money that was rolling in back in '97 & '98.
Even though I am now married to an awesome man : ) I still do all my own work! He has nothing to do with my site. Although you never know, maybe one day he will make a guest appearance : )
