Anyone live in like Coconut Creek, Dearfield, Pompano, around there with comcast internet ? I have comcast up here, I don't wanna swith ISP's when I move to that area, haven't picked a complex yet, I guess I'll move wherever Comcast is available.

Meni, better start getting used to the idea that you might have switch to Time-Warner RoadRunner. Which isn't bad, honestly.
It's the Bellsouth DSL that sucks balls. Goes up and down more than Monica, but at least they've got a good loop length allowance.

PS - easiest thing to do is take the zips of Pompano, Deerfield etc and plug them into the coverage area zip code search on Comcast's site. Narrow it down that way and then call specific complexes to see who their provider is. Even if Comcast is in an area, the probability is that RoadRunner has the contract to serve those properties.

ive been on bell south dsl for the last month or so

not a single down time except for a modem prob one time

I'm really surprised, guys. I guess since I've been gone they've either caught up the technology or gotten their shit together (or both). They were fucking *horrible* when I was down there, but then again DSL was a relatively "new" thing at the time and things were developing day by day. That was 3 1/2 years ago so maybe I should give 'em the benefit of the doubt
