Anyone have any exciting plans for the 4th? I really want to blow some shit up, but nowhere to do it around here. Everything has gotten so built up, no open land.

Think I am going to lay low in Dallas. Too many drunk idiots around (reminds me of internext), hard to find peace and quiet and fish. May go to the lake house Sunday after they all leave and see if the fish are hungry.

A couple of possibilities

1. Test drive the hummer for 24 hours and get some 4th of July footage unless I decide to save that for my birthday Weds night and that footage will even be better.

2. Clean out the truck and go get me a big thick ass bamboo pole and pick up HP. If you go down the right bridge late at night you can stick that pole out the window and hold it real rigid...if your butted up against the edge of the road you can whup some dark fishermen ass. Imagine the horror of seeing your homies taking a thrashing from a bamboo pole.
Your choice jump or take the lumps.

I figure Id hollar out the window "Brad Shaw sez fuck you...stay out of his fishing hole."

Beats the fuck out of scrapbooking!

This sounds like fun!! I have had some pretty fun experiences in Hummers. I am the only person to have gotten a hummer stuck in mud, and blew a tire off the rim on a big mountain of sand in Mexico.

Mike, that sounds like a blast ...
mud is the most fun offroad experience of all

i remember a competition weekend we were on when i was a kid, few hundred vehicles competing and it rained all weekend ... lots of vehicle damage etc so it was a pretty stress filled competition. there was a huge mud hole that the owners of the property had built, with 3 foot dirt humps on all sides ... so as a stress relief before leaving for home, a challenge started to see who could go through the hole (about 5 foot deep in the center) ...

this guy had an F100 that he'd bought & done up just for comps, totally stripped with no trayback, just an extra fuel tank and a spare tyre on the back ... he gunned it, straight over the hump, got airborn, and landed flat in the mud with a huge splash ... it took about 3 hours to get him out, but the entire time was funny as hell - he had a wheel spin going for about 10 minutes, so every inch of the truck was covered with mud (and most of the crowd). the F100 got dumped at the scrap metal yard afterwards because he blew the motor

we should have a webmaster offroad party

scrapbooking? i sit for hours watching QVC unfold their scrapbooking materials. i ended up buying *sticky glue* and a bunch of stamps i never use. my sister-in-law owns a store that features scrapbooking stuff. even men are getting into it!

I have to admit I don't see the "fun" in scrapbooking. Granted, all my pictures are either on a disk or in one of about 4 huge boxes (and in ZERO particular order). The only "album" I ever made was when my son was little and I think I paid $5 for it and just crammed in as many pictures as I could.

I like looking at PICTURES, not the fluff around it. But it is a HUGE market. I remember when I was looking at MLM companies over 10 years ago and Creative Memories was around. My mother and my SIL probably love it (and are afraid to tell me ).

i've made a few albums for my parents special birthday occasions before 'scrapbooking' meant buying a bunch of stuff that was already made that you just have to stick together ...

but mostly, photos are in a big box covered in dust just like they should be
