This website attempts to guess whatever you are thinking about by asking you 20 questions about it. It got mine right on question 19.

They say it "learns" from the questions and answers people give but they also said those Q and A are reviewed manually by people. I think it would be more interesting to see if they could do it without the manual confirmation. They'd probably need a lot more traffic (repetitions) though.

Phone Call - 28 questions....

The contradictions were, imo wrong though:

You were thinking of a phone call.
Is it considered valuable? You said Maybe, I say No.
maybe I'm wrong here....but the actual conversation could be valuable to you....

Does it grow over time? You said Yes, I say No.
I was thinking in relation to time...a phone call gets longer by the second.

Can you find it in a church? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Of COURSE you can find a phone call in a church!

Does it require specific knowledge to use it? You said Yes, I say No.
You would need to know how to use a phone in order to make a phone call.

I'm making assumptions about how the program must work but something to consider is that the website claims the programs "learns". Assumably that means that previous people's answers to the questions for specific objects form the flow-chartish Q and A for later people thinking of the same object.

If a majority of other people thought using a phone doesn't require "specific knowledge" then that is what the program would use too. Since we all have very different conceptions of what a word means - and there are hundreds of posts here everyday to prove that - there will be inconsistencies in answers.

You can play either to stump the program OR to get it quickly. The more "accurately" you answer the questions, the less questions it will take to guess what you are thinking of.
