If you are so inclined my wife and daughter are participating in the march of dimes walk in Austin in a few weeks and she is looking for sponsors to help her meet her goal.
March of dimes is a great organization and they use their money to fund research on birth defects, low birth weights, and so many more things. Actually, I'm quite active in both the March of Dimes and the Special Olympics.....
I just do things on a local level and don't toot my horn much  That's great though, your daughter will learn a lot from the experience I'm sure...

thats super cool. not enough people give their time (me included).
