It's a real pet peeve of mine for a lot of reasons. When I began with sites, webTV was a big thing, and I quickly learned to make my sites as simple as possible so everyone could view them.

I can't tell you how many sites I can't view due to Flash or Javascript. I have had a few sites want to be reviewed and when I visited their page to sign up, Firefox would crash due to the Flash, and if I asked if they had a non-Flash page (many will do this, the smart folks) they would simply say no -- no brains to offer to sign me up so I don't crash, either.

I admit I don't know you or your niche, Sabby, but only know you from The Pond. My advice (unsolicited, for what its worth) is to contact Sheri Santiago of Wild West Cash since she has a lot of success with extreme girl sites. She's a porn chick with a good head on her shoulders (now is the time for the guys to chime in about her boobs).

I have been banging this drum for years. There is a need for speed on a website. It has to load fast, be uncomplicated, and simply navigable. Who cares if it looks all of this and all of that? If it sells, it is great design. However, Sabby herself has beat me up over my "ugly" web design for years, so I think this advice will fall on deaf ears.

Well other than all the obvious shit that doesnt work right on it, I think its much to morbid and "butchy" looking. And I am anything but. It should be way more femme.

And I am not extreme enough to be considered extreme. (have you seen some of the extreme sites, lol). "kinky" is a better term.

This might be all hindsite though I really dont think I have the energy to get back on the horse again. I make really good money on cam still and I think I would like to just do that, play with my traffic a bit, and kick my husbands ass out into the real world to get a job. I'm tired of being around him 24/7. He talks to much.

My first host told me in 1995 to KISS, because not all systems were compatible, and since a huge majority of my surfers were webTV folks, I learned to be as simple as possible.

I did the design on one of my paysites myself, except for the logo. It's very basic, very plain and does very well.

Surfers tell me they don't care about the glamour and glitz, they want to see the pussy.

Sarettah has a damn good point here. I for one was and am fully on the bandwagon of being open to newbies posting here in a friendly enviroment. While I can have no possible idea what has transpired between Sabby and a few of the other posters here I do hate to see someone with as much experience as she has go away... angry or not.

I know at least 5 people personally that bought tons of domains to promote sabby, plus they spent tons of time throwing links up and doing graphics and shit...she cost webmasters money, and who knows howmuch more money to come from people that don't read boards or log into the affiliate system

it is one thing to throw your site up and leave it up for 5-6 months then decide it isn't for you...but to put your site into a established program that has a solid rep all around, then a month later decide you don't wanna do it anymore? that is fucked up

I have been an affiliate of his since day one of being opened....and when jayman and I got to hang in florida it made me even more sure of promoting his shit, he is one of the few down to earth people I have met in this biz.

I can't speak for the entire nscash program because I have no ties to them except that our site is in there, but as far as our site goes you can do whatever you feel necessary....it won't concern me one way or the other.

sorry bro, but if you know people who personally spent thousands of dollars promoting her then I would say those people either had thousands of dollars to waste... or they were just plain silly for the reason I stated above and because the 'look' sabby has is dying out right about now. Surfers seem to be much more into the natural look now as a whole. When I began with sites, webTV was a big thing, and I quickly learned to make my sites as simple as possible so everyone could view them. I can't tell you how many sites I can't view due to Flash or Javascript. I have had a few sites want to be reviewed and when I visited their page to sign up, Firefox would crash due to the Flash, and if I asked if they had a non-Flash page (many will do this, the smart folks) they would simply say no -- no brains to offer to sign me up so I don't crash, either. I admit I don't know you or your niche, Sabby, but only know you from The Pond. My advice (unsolicited, for what its worth) is to contact Sheri Santiago of Wild West Cash since she has a lot of success with extreme girl sites.
