and neither has this:

The first adult company to publicly trade on the NASDAQ since 1999 @ only $0.70 a share?
It seems this is for the rich boys to toy with, cuz I can't do much @ that price. How much could a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck wood?

Hmmmm....Bought RICK when it was $1.05, watched it go to $27, (Should have sold then) and now leveling out in the $10s.
Hard to gauge a true value in today's market. I'm wondering if it would be worth a small bite?
Just as a flyer? They do have a hell of a catalog. As soon as they figure out how to monetize it in today's climate.

Short term & a large chunk of change, maybe there might be a little somethin', somethin' to take home.
But long term? I don't believe so after reviewing the links TeleToby posted.

You show a nice increase with RICK. But was that during the recension?
Who couldn't make a few bucks during that time. I bought Ford around a dollar and some change. it's over fourteen bucks now.
Apple was another that boomed during that period.

Naaa...I confess, I owned RICK for probably close to 10 years now. (I think) I didn't buy it solely for the profit potential. I also bought WDDD when it was 1/10 cent per share.

We also got in on the ford/GM stock game during the big crush. Made a few, quick sweet bucks on that one.

Another one, MTB a local bank, was Yo Yoing last year, we rode that up and down for a while, scraping off a few thou per slice....til it ended.

(We finally had to sit on our last input for like 6 months before we could get out. with the dividend cycle, it was still worth it)

Stock prices on adult businesses are similar to the market we face all the time. We are a luxury, a "spiff" that people give themselves when they can afford it. When people don't have a ton of cash, nights at Rick's strip clubs are just not going to happen. People with maxed credit cards aren't lining up to buy porn. That is just the way things are.

Keep an eye on them though, as the economy improves you can expect them to do better.

Pornography is not a commodity unless you're interdependent.

Simple is all. A needed commodity is a guaranteed winner.
Necessity ideas that society depends upon a continuance is a guaranteed winner like oil, wood, automobiles, food, etc.
So how to create a spiff into a necessity?
The catch is to figure out what fad or new habit will convert into a
daily grind of the everyday consumer I guess.

Pornography and marijuana are two of the ideas that cross the lines on a legality side & stock value increase from changes depending on what the laws are for that year or years to come. Therefore interdependency of such items are needed to secure sales and increase it's value.
Millions have tried to catch or grasp the consumer by giving it away hoping a codependency will occur on newer generation's and cultures.
"Look @ all the free porn online. ...am I wrong?"

Here be a question...
Do you believe that there are investors, shareholders, or practically from any industrial laborer department that sell, produce, or invest in a unnecessary idea without having some sort of
craving or codependency to that commodity?

Yes, there are. I can categorically state, it is a fact. We received some funding from such an individual. He remains a valued asset to this day.
He is also a close personal friend of mine, and has little interest, beyond a mild less than "normal," curiosity, for "porn."

And he has no interest in Marijuana.

Maybe a suggestion my good puppet master.
Here are some tads on medical marijuana that you & your friend might change your interests...

With the growth of medical marijuana being needed by one of the most consuming countries in the world, it seems the U.S. government has rethought the way it thinks about it's legality.

The U.S. Govt realizing the "prohibition" idea isn't going to function anymore,
and the playing along with the game of "medical purpose legalities" gives leeway to legalizing the stuff state by state in America.
Your governmental legislature finally realized it's more profitable to sell the shit that to fight it.
(Stopping the overseas, & over-borders imports of a non taxable commodity isn't a smart function, and "WE" could produce a better more taxable product.) ..."Now it can be taxed."

It's booming so rapidly state to state that required cultivation laws consist of a few paper work fill-ins and some licenses for distribution.
Lots of the west coast
county family property owners are becoming cannabis growing backyards with the kids backyard swing-set brushing the tips of the shrubs.

and its dirt cheap right now...

I think..., "Just like porn found its marketing profit with home grown amateurs porn released throughout the begging venture of the internet,
...Mary Jane will
legally announce it's removal of blame for
cannabis cultivation & sales "affiliates" with government control and show a profit for shareholders."

...Just my thoughts my Gepetto.

Hey, don't get me wrong.....I got NOTHING against legalizing Marijuana. In fact, I'm all for it!
I graduated from "Hempfield high."

No, that's not a joke, it real. I REALLY did graduate from that school in Landisville PA.
The area was famous for Hemp rope growth, years ago.
