I wish I could help you, J. I cruise through sites like cnn with no ads, but at least I see the rest of the site. Something flips the ad switch and I have no idea what it is.

It could be the PHP image handler you are using. They will sometimes trip the ad blocker switch. We had one website that we had to change the image handling just because of that same problem, as some of the browser ad blocking wasn't displaying the thumbs.
