Details Magazine Feature about Epassporte and Christopher Mallick
I'm writing a feature for Details Magazine about Christopher Mallick and the collapse of Epassporte and I wanted to ask the good people of Oprano for their information and assistance. Particularly:
If you think you can help please comment on this thread or contact me by email (below). I'm happy to speak on the phone too, if you prefer. If you feel the need to remain anonymous for any reason, then I'll respect that, just be sure to let me know. But like any journalist, I can only use information that's on the record. Thanks in advance for helping me tell this story properly. I've scoured GFY's threads already, and I'm going to go through Oprano's too. But I know that there's more. I look forward to hearing from you. My email address is Details7000 at hotmail dot com. (The reason it's not a Conde Nast email address is because I'm a freelancer and I've set up this address specifically for this story). Cheers, Sanjiv |

Sanjiv, all I can say is "follow the money". Find out how the Middle Men movie was financed, and you are very likely to find many of the answers you seek. There was a whole lot of somebody's money getting spent there, on a movie that few in Hollywood seemed to care about.
Follow the money, it always points to the truth.

Why would the reader of details care about a company that 99.8 of them wont know who they are?

We'll have to agree to disagree. Bad faith companies (assuming that's what Epassporte is) are big stories right now with a frustrated public. Add in the fact that it's in adult and you got more curiosity and ways to frame the story.
