No this is bad... the lawyers in the UK are going to get hit with fines for not protecting this info...

The pirates waging war on the lawyers trying to scare them and others off from filing more litigation. The UK firm may get hit with a 500k fine.

In California that fine would have been more than $3,750,000. Its $750 per record here.

I can see the US lawyers being next on the hit list if they dont protect themselves and their data.

Actually, I was thinking: What would happen if the lawyers pleaded not guilty, because they were doing a service similar to Wikileaks? Would they have been in less trouble if the names had appeared there?
