Regulations are only for those that want to follow the law. Those that willingly produce CP don't care about 2257.
Also, 2257 does nothing about models using fake or borrowed ID, which is rather ironic, since it was Traci Lords using fake ID that spurred this legislation to begin with. To be clear, Dirty D's current legal problems are not about 2257. That case would remain even if 18 U.S.C. 2257 did not exist.
