Default off topic - vehicle gas mileage

What is the best mileage any of your vehicles get and what make/model is the vehicle? Gasoline is still at $3.00+ a gallon in my area, and has been so for quite a while. I had a Ford Ranger "flex fuel" model, but I could never find the approved "flex" fuel for it, not many filling stations carry it in my area.
Flex fuel = gasoline or any blend of up to 85% ethanol (E85).
Other than straight
gasoline of course. Wasted technology.

Damn.. that's fantastic. I had no idea they were that thrifty with the fuel
Thats double what my 4x4 gets (I live rural and we never get the snow plowed from the street in the winter). You are the green guy.

It does pretty good (actually Jen's car) 6 Cyl with traction control and front wheel drive so does the snow pretty good too (Not quite as well as the Harley but almost...lolol)

Just read this article about the "Think" electric vehicle
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/busin...8830/index.htm

The right idea, at the right time, the right backers, with the right technology. I hope it is successful.

One of my cars (2006) BMW 330i gets around 19 in town and around 28 on the highway...which is surprisingly close to what the EPA lists for it (shocking actually because their estimates are usally quite a bit off)...my other car does not really qualify since it's so rediculously tuned (1994 twin turbo Supra)...it doesn't even run on normal pump gas anyway

Our 2002 Corvette gets on average between 28-30 mpg At 70mph it's basically idling at 1,500 RPM

Our '07 Tahoe was advertised at 22mpg highway, but it get's only 13.5mpg, it's a displacement on demand engine so it's supposed to switch from 8 cyl to 4 cyl at times to increase gas mileage, but as you can tell it does a poor job of it.

Our '07 F150 Pickup get's about 14mpg.

Both the Tahoe and the Pickup are flex fuel vehicles, which at this time is completely meaningless. Because we use Corn based Ethanol here in the U.S. it takes close to a gallon of gasoline to create one gallon of E85. Maybe in the future, we can use some 3rd world technologies and start to use switch grass instead of corn, then E85 will be cheaper.
