I did through my brother.

Took it with me on my cross Canada journey.

I think it was worth it.

Even if I only use it on those trips.

Get fed up of only being able to get the price of wheat on normal radio through Manitoba and Sas

I will be getting serius in the new place, but I had it in the office here in Portland, it is definatly worth it if you are into a variety of tunes and want different talk show and the like, it is a great tool

I got XM when I upgraded the truck last January and love it. If sirius is even half as good as the XM (and I know some say it's better) then you will be happy.

Nothing like taking a full cross country trip and not having any dead spots

PD,

Are you looking at somehting just for when you are working or soemthing you can use anywhere? If it's just for work then I suggest Launch.com as it's cheap and once you spend a bit of time searching and rating songs and albums you like it's a hell of a service and only like $4 a month.

I liked the tunes selection at Pedro Radio when it was available, but now I have resorted to www.shoutcast.com. I never tried Sirius or XM.

It's for car/home/work, so a net-only solution won't do. I live out in the boonies ... it's hard to get a decent signal at home for anything, and in the car I can get stuck with the farm reports and Jezuz radio pretty quick in any direction. The other thing is, I'm a junkie when it comes to listening to sports on the radio - baseball, football, basketball, hockey.

As far as Stern goes ... what the hell. Maybe supporting the cocksuckers that hired him will offset my support of the anticrist (Rupert Murdock) with my DirectTV subscription.

Launch.com looks interesting ... interesting how they're doing it for 7 bucks a month less than Real's Rhapsody.

as long as you dont live in the hills, you will be ok with satellite. but if you are surrounded by mountains and driving around them, you can lose the signal often.
