Is it just me or has anyone noticed how lately (past couple of years actually 4 to 5) all natural disasters (not the huge ones) are happening in USA?

floods, extreme cold, storms, bush, etc etc.

We just have more reporting of US situations in the US

There have been lots of earthquakes, volcanos, typhoos, violent storms/floods, extreme cold/hot, etc that have killed thousands outside the US over the past 4-5 years. And let's not forget the tsunami.

Also note - a fire in CA is going to do more damage than a fire in an area where no one lives.

its the gulf of mexico, hurricane season. we will see a dozen of these storms, just like every other year in the history of the current continental structure. as i recall , panama gets it pretty good during their wet season too
