Looks good and I love the setting your own price option. It allows people to macximise their traffic by finding out which price point does best for them.

I definately like the idea of setting of your own membership price as the guys stated above, quite the unique selling point.

It is delightful to have you on board ..

One thing I will mention about the main site is that I was strongly drawn to clicking on the top menu tabs immediately, expecting to see the sites within one of the tabs, but then realised the link was on the very first page. Its just my personal opinion, but the link to the sites is very subdued and laid back.

I'm not trying to piss on anyone, but that just seems incredibly stupid to me.

I will give you some examples and hopefully help you to explain why price is good thing

It may not be a good thing for your traffic..

Traffic will convert differently..
example I purchase overture.com pay per click traffic, pre-qualified the title and description to reflect credit card needed.

title: Wow Club T A with Valid Credit Card

I convert 1:126 with overture.com traffic
promoting a free 3 day pass that converts into a 19.95 monthly - includes all 7 sites.

We have promoted on overture for 6 years now and have tried 9.95 monthly, 19.95 monthly, 24.95 monthly, 29.95 monthly, 34.95 monthly, and 39.95 monthly.
offering 3 day trials for FREE, 2.95 and 4.95

The only way to know is test the traffic you have. then test it some more with different price points and creative.. when we do advertising we mix up the designs, sites and price options..

overture traffic works well with FREE trials and 19.95 monthly
google ad words traffic works well with 2.95 3-day trial and 39.95 monthly.
sex.com traffic works ok with FREE trials and 19.95 monthly

To make everyone’s traffic convert, price is always a factor.
I mean my visitors that don't convert into sales did not make a Spontaneous,
impulsive buy.. based on price, site and creative.

I target Porn Stars, Swingers Club, Lesbian Sex, Teen Sex, Amateur Sex, Sex World and Fetish sex...

Amateur - converts the best
Teenage Pie - converts the next best
Swingers world - converts nicely and retains the best.

finally, our affiliate program NATS drops a cookie on the visitors machine, when that visitor comes back at any time and makes a purchase the webmaster gets
credit. also when a visitor makes a purchase lets say takes the free trial for 3 days and cancels... well we send them offers in email for a discounted rate to come back, 80% do take us up on our offer. and the webmaster will get credit as long as the user didn't delete the cookie..

so, price does make a difference to our customers becuase 80% will come back for a discounted rate... but remember price, sites, traffic and creative all play a roll on conversions. and customer support and content make the difference in retention..

I'm not telling you to offer all sites for a buck ninety five a month, if this is your traffic and it converts for you, you should sell emails for $1. and not paysites.. paysites need money for tour bandwidth and content bandwidth.. outside of that it's all profit...minus processing and new content every month..

Now thats interesting ,to me. clubta , Whats your theory on wht the difference between engines?

here's our secret.. go to the YAHOO/ OVERTURE workshops learn as much as you can, or hire us to teach you what we have learned.

Here's what we do and I would suggest if your doing any type of pay per click from anyone you should do the same.

< i'll use my overture.com account as an example

1. we purchase traffic from overture.com
2. we track sales from overture.com per conversion, per keyword, per traffic affiliate of overture.com.

real example:
bigboobs.com is an overture.com affiliate selling or pulling xml from overture.com ppc listings. I do 1/1000 with this affiliate of overture.com not the best quality and does not work for me. (google ad words lets you put url's you do not want your ad to run on. much bigger ROI.) currently with overture I have to ID the keyword and referring source of traffic to create ROI on sales.

we use yahoo search optimizer to track sales with overture.com, google.com, findwhat.com and sex.com

the concept is simple

Target profitable keywords and eliminate costly 'misses'

Target profitable sources of traffic and eliminate costly 'misses'

Track sales revenue in real-time from any web browser

Analyze behavior and pinpoint problems in your traffic flow.
and i'm not talking web trends..
