Whomever invented the console probably stole it from some geek posting shit on Javascripts.com and bastardized it properly for adult use in the first place. Who gives a shit?

My favorite console was the one I did that told the surfer their hard drive was being deleted unless they clicked the link.

Same with me...I didn't invent it. In early 96, I used a script to pop up pictures. My partner stole the code and used it for a popup when you entered CEs sites. Actually, let me get the exact date of my picture viewer.
Yep, June of 1995 was when I first started using it. If there was someone before that, my hat goes off to them.

Well NS2 with Javascript was released in about March of 96 - that's approximately when we started to use popups for Cyberville Radio in Netscape, we'd been doing stuff for Microsoft UK using ActiveX before that. I have the video tape of the program BBC 2 in the UK did about Cyberville Radio in 95 which led to MS inviting us to their UK HQ and showing us how to do this stuff. Like I said before. MS UK invented the pop-up - I was the first to use what they showed me though.
