Im with you on the whole 'working together' thing.

A year or two ago i tried putting a contest together in co-ordination with ARS Resources and our resource network for all of the boards to submit a team of their regular posters for a general knowledge / fun weekly quiz.

Out of all of the boards i emailed asking if they were interested in doing this on a regular basis, only ANS, Oprano, Porn Resource and Netpond bothered to reply.

Needless to say, the contest never happened.

We should be working together with the boards that offer some foundation of business information on them however, with the bullshit boards popping up more and more over the last 12 months, its looking like the industry is going to catering more towards the freeloaders who want to win shit than those of us who are interested in business.

Of course as i mentioned earlier, these BS boards do offer us a good marketing tool, you can pretty much guarantee that a duplicate post on the 3 main ones will get you traffic, from that point of view it becomes a positive on a time management objective.. as many 'eyes' viewing your message in as short amount of time possible.
