First two episodes of The Wire have been pretty good.

They wisely decided not to waste the first 5-6 episodes setting things up and getting the band back together for a change.

I have to wait til Tuesday when tonight's repeats after Nip/Tuck

that's an amazing 2 hours of television

I started watching The Wire when it first came out but after 2 episodes never got into it. It's on Netflix though.

I think Merrill is too obvious and I don't think it's Ava

Even though he's in jail getting anally raped, I have a suspicion it could be Matt's friend (I forget his name) that was in the car with him when they ran over the girl and blinded her

I've also wondered if it might be the Jill Clayburg character, but that would seem a bit obvious, but would make sense (we can't know if she was legitimately sorry about lying about her bruising)

I think they tried to decoy you with the drug dealer guy from last season, but that is probably a dream sequence...

Tough to say who it could be. He did it to two models before he hit Shawn...

did anyone notice the mask and outfit that The Carver wears is simialr to the one the rapist wore in the Little House On The Prairie episode where Albert's girlfriend Sylvia gets raped and impregnanted by the serial rapist who turns out to be a teacher or something...and Albert was going to help her with the baby, but she ends up dying after falling off a ladder when the attacker comes back...
