what do you think the take was in 1999?
1 mil? 2 mils? 10 mils? 20 mils?

...and to make this quiz more fun,
you gotta say if I talk yearly or monthly
I know I know I know.......

But due to certain legal issues I probably shouldn't answer.......

gilgy,
my point is:
it's EASY to enjoy your growth every year,
because you don't have the top to look at, the top which was made in 1999.

IF you made millions in 1999,
your today's "growth" would look very pigmeish to you. Therefore,
all your talk about "bottom hasn't fell",
"making upsacel living" is a bit funny to us who saw the "Everest" in 1999.

I am not dissing you,
(I told you the other day I like your train of thought and I don't post to you in controversial way, just making observation and point to the flaws of your posts)

..and to quote another fellow Jew:
"Everything is Relative in this world"

(--Einstein)

I wish you the best, and wish your gig in internet porn to last forever and most of all....to BE on "Everest",
lots of things look different from above and...make kick ass memories to recall on the death bed
;-)))))

You have to understand something, Serge. I have been on Everest in my past career. I have no need to retrace my footsteps. If I kacked tomorrow, I would have achieved more than most and would die content. This is a good living with a good future. My goal is peace and contentment. I have lived a life that others could only dream of. The bottom never fell out for me because I was thrilled when I realized half a million dollars a year was an easy nut to crack. I never cared to go through the agro to make the big bucks. I am content, so the bottom has not fallen out of my market and I am sure there are thousands out there like me that normally fly below the radar and are content to do so. I also like the way you and your buddy Einstein think. I guess to be fair the bottom did fall out of their market. I see your point.

gilgy, and where we BOTH agree, and I bet we BOTH seen it:
one can be content AND HAPPY with $500,000,
while others are DISCONTENT AND NEVER BE HAPPY with 50 mils, 500 mils and even bils.

We ALL saw Wall Street big wigs going to jail,
and those poor souls had more than ALL of us combined.

You have a WISE attitude which comes with age and I wish all the youngsters out there to have 1/10th of your attitude and...just be content and happy.

I know I am

I haven't read through all this thread, but I will... eventually when it dies down.

My reply will be interesting enough.. Please keep this thread going in the meantime. I find some of the answers such as "Invest in HDTV!" as pure brilliance that will lead you to a point in your life very few of you can imagine sitting where you are now

Fighting to get back to where you were, let me leave what I have to say at that... And yes I "was" on top of this world we call internet porn at one point of time.. More on top of it then 95% of you will ever be. But I made mistakes, alot of them. Those of you that think you are impervious of making the same mistakes, think twice... And stay focused.

Don't make the same mistakes I did, and that is all I can say.... I will find this a very interesting read once this thread dies down I am sure many of you... if you are WISE will have LEARNED something. Potentially what could have been THE most important lesson in your life!

"Never count on what is working in the present, ALWAYS plan for the future"

That's just my take on it all though, and 99.99% of you don't know me.

and while that sounds like the most simple thing in the world, we raise our children in a way that achieves totally the opposite

child cries ... gets icecream
child hits another child ... gets a 'talk'
child smashes new toy ... gets another one
child demands mcdonalds ... child gets mcdonalds

I observe parents all the time, and I can't believe how often they give in to their children to save argument, or say things to them like 'stop crying and i'll get you a treat'. everything we teach them is to want more but to never be satisfied for long when they get it. school, college etc, all to work towards a goal that most people will never achieve and those that do feel disappointed with ... teaching us to desire & reach for more material posessions we live in a state of 'i will be happy when ........'

the absence of the things we desire is the cause of unhappiness ... so why do we have to spend the first 25 years of our life being pushed in the wrong direction because the voice of happiness speaks quieter than desire created by TV commercials?

I just spent the day with children
BRING BACK SPANKING AND WOODEN SPOONS!!!!!!!!!

Ryan, your story sounds familiar ;-) Ya know what they say though, the only place to go from the bottom is up & the only place to go from the top is .................

Hols start June 26...Actually Alex might like to go with you that weekend. We have Jordie's bday party on the 25th and we're going to the Test on the 26th so she needs to sleep elsewhere both of those nights. She'll prolly go to her dad's one of them, but you can have her the other.

Why should the business not be a career? It seems that it is as viable as any other. It is profitable, substantial, and has a pretty bright future. Its like any other business.
that's the way i'm looking at it. slowly but surely i'm using my mainstream online income to finance my ventures in adult. there is no end to the opportunities i see.
