more political "facts" from Meni.

it would be much more humorous if people believed that you understood that The Onion is a parody news site.

That's the best April Fools joke of the day
Meni - you know the onion is a parody, right? You're just pulling our leg, right?

but I like
Quote:
With that statement, Bush left Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao to present some of the finer points of his administration's new position.

"Get a haircut," Chao said. "Clean yourself up a little and put on a nice shirt, or even a suit. Maybe employers would take you more seriously if you didn't look like you just rolled out of bed. The way you look now, I wouldn't hire you to throw me a rope if I was falling off a cliff."

if i had a "clue"?

why would i know or care if Howard Stern likes The Onion? I don't exactly eat, live and breath Howard Stern.

Given the ignorance of your ranting, it is a pretty logical assumption that "Meni" does not know The Onion is parody.

aren't you the who claimed
i would post
i fucked this stripper
i have large muscles
then I asked you to show me those posts
and?....

16 million people tune into Stern each morning
gee, i'm a fool to listen to the show huh
what the fuck do you listen to ?
I "claimed"

I think I was just making fun of you.

What does 16 million people listening to Stern have to do with anything other than a sign of the decay of society.

What audience is listening to Stern? Attorneys, Accountants, Judges, University professors?

... or construction workers, cab drivers and the unemployed?

Is this your way of asking for a job? I dont know if i have an opening for "paranoid, delusional dumbass with poor typing skills and the grammar of a 3rd grader" but i am aware of you and will keep you in mind should I have any future openings.

Jeff do you listen to Stern?
don't compare him to Springer
and realize
this is about first amendant with Stern
the FCC wants to fine anyone who says something indcent on the public airwaves
$275K fine
perhaps $500K before this is over
$500,000 fined to anyone who says something, that some middle america religious letter writing christian freak deems indecent

Why does a Kansas Senator, write letters to the head of Viacom?
Is that in his public's interest? Stern isn't even ON in Kansas
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/03310...1043stern2.html
This religious freak lives in a subsidized mansion with other very religous freaks.
No conflict of interest? if your rent is paid by a religious group?

You may not like Stern, but you have to believe this is bullshit, the religious right wants to take away our rights.
If you are a broadcaster and there is a $500K fine anytime you say something, someone out there finds indecent
the FCC will look at it and boom half a million fine
what do you think tv and radio will be like?
real cutting edge, maybe John Tesh's radio show will finally hit it big
when there is nothing else to listen to
here you go peruse Stern's site
http://www.howardstern.com
if its a bit slow its because of the traffic
and believe me, Bush will not be re-elected

easy! That would be the sport of "who cares"

Meni, you are really coming across like someone with a substance abuse problem. Meandering thoughts, anger, rage, irrational and incomplete, thoughts, excited. Steroid abuse? Is your ECA stack getting the best of you? Ephedra is illegal now, did you switch to something more potent?

Hey Meni - how are ya today?

Not that it really has a lot to do with Bush (but he will claim it does)

HOW ABOUT THOSE 308,000 NEW JOBS CREATED LAST MONTH?
Most new jobs created in 1 month in 4 years.

How about the Wall Street morning rally behind that news?

Meni - please take into consideration that what SELLS will eventually determine the market

If the public wants Stern and his numbers (ratings) are big enough ...
....$$$$$$ talks

and yes I agree it's fucked if the FCC tires to censor broadcasts, but I also think Janet Jackson's breast during the Super Bowl went too far (it wasn't expected - if you want to see tits then you should be able to make that decision, not have one sprung on you)

But in a free market society the $ makes the final decision

It's not the government's job to create jobs. It's the government's job to provide the environment for the private sector to create jobs. If you want the private sector to create jobs, then this means government needs to tax less and spend less. That way individuals will have more money to spend or save and business will have more money to borrow and hire.

Unless, of course, you think the only jobs should be useless government welfare positions.

I wondered how long it would take the 300,000 jobs allegedly created last month to make it onto the board/into this thread.

Damn ... it's like a winning streak for the Cubs. "Hey, yeah, I know we've lost 35 in a row ... but damn, man, WE WON TODAY!!!!"
