you want to be helpful to your friends and to me, post
what the TRO says, or tell me where it will be posted.
Does a TRO cross state lines? Now, if you were Sarettah,
you would be posting the answers to my questions.
I've been good, so get yourself together and tell us how
a TRO works. I was told that anyone can walk into a court
and fill out some papers, free of charge, and state that
a stalker has threatened your life, and you want a TRO.
Remember, it is temporary.
Funny thing....the FBI suggested I get a Restraining Order
against a person who is stalking me. Dueling TRO's. Such
fun!

I suppose now your going to state that the Denver IP that you have from the dial in account from Earthlink puts you in Denver. Remember Earthlink has a nice big office here...and imagine what stockholders can get for information .

When someone post, the board notes the ip address the poster was coming from. It isn't any effort to determine what part of the world a poster is from.
I don't see it as anything to be afraid of. Every admin has that ability.

Heck, the old board actually showed the IP addresses. :P
If someone doesn't want their IP known to board admins, my suggestion is they dont post. Some boards collect way more data than just the IP in their daily logs.
Gonzo, a few years ago I used AOL, to hide my DSL IP address. Most of my IP addresses change regularly. On Netpond they are displayed with your message. That's how a lot of the older boards worked for years.
It's no big mystery. Bishop is right. Board owners have cookies and lots of information about their posters. I'm glad you are so interested in my IP addresses, Gonzo. It gives you something to do.
Do you know how many programs that exist where sneaky people can break into your computer and send messages from your account without you being aware of the dirty deeds? Certain individuals you know are experts at doing this, and they have even been convicted of these crimes. Gonzo, I would choose your friends wisely or you may end up spending some time with Bubbha.
By the way, hot shot...I never asked for a mediator. Any services that have been offered by other parties were done so as a means to create a more friendly environment for all concerned.
Now, what does the TRO say? Since all these items are public records, why not spread the news.

Hey Lee. I wondered where the hell you were. I'm not easily pushed around. Been in porn too damn long.
This has been a very difficult week and to be honest this whole ordeal (with shithead gonzo) was the perfect distraction. My neice who the same age as my son, we discovered she has cancer, had surgery yesterday for 7 hours (still not sure why) and I'll be heading up to NYC in a week. Right now I'm beat tired but couldn't resist saying hello.
