My Christmas list is due today, and of course, I'm late.

Any recommendations for a good keyboard? I do NOT like the ergonomic ones - tried it years ago and my typing skills are too poor for that.

I've thought about a wireless one because the way my desk is set up, the tray which holds my keyboard shifts and eats the wires up. However, I've heard they go through batteries rather quickly.

Right now I have an old IBM clicking one, but I'm ready for something new.

Also advice for a new mouse would be good. For the last 8+ years I've used what used to be called a Logitech Mouseman, then they changed it to Wingman, now they don't make them anymore. I need something small because of my hands. And again, eating wires is a problem, so wireless would probably be a good option. I was kind of looking at this but $40 for a mouse just blows my mind.

Here's a combo unit that didn't look bad either.

I like Logitech because they treated me well when I had to return a mouse after a few years while it was under warranty.

I do NOT want anything fancy or expensive. I think this keyboard was $15 and it's lasted for years.

Any suggestions?

all my keyboards are 5.99 at Frys Electronics.

stacks of them and throw them away when dirty or old.

Great - many thanks! The letters are gone from my keyboard also. I don't even notice it, but when the DSL repair guy came and needed to check some things, he mentioned it. :P
