Join process - how much does join form matter? do you prefer pre-fill? collect e-mail addesses? keep join form clean, or do final sales pitch?

currently hit em with i flexpost with personal info and picking join option, then 2nd page is billing info.. thats what I want to maximize better..

Join form is Key.. surfers dont like to read, and if they have to, it must be short and to the point in as few words as possible. and clear.
pre populated will only work on the billing page from info submitted on the 1st page, also some people will have that new google thing that will pre fill feilds. no need to collect email addresses during the join, if they didnt get approved, why spam them? I get me emails from the processor after a successful signup..

def keep the form clean and easy to navigate, make this is painless as possible for the surfer. remember surfers are lazy and horny.. so they want to bust a nut quick..

sales pitch is easy.. pop a free ffer to new members on the join page and tell them they get something free, or access to another site.. really hype it up and say FREE a million times.. ppl love free shit

thats all I will divuldge for now.. it needs tweaking, thats why this thread was started... and i leave for vegas in 3 hours haha
