I don't think that this phrase is a slap in the face to the entire restaurant industry; just an accurate description of a multi billion dollar company that gives nickle and dime raises to their employees and employment with a majority of fast food chains.

They don't mention that the people running those stores are either in their 40s/50s & have been there since they were 16, upper management's relatives or upper mangement's good buddies. Maybe this is only a reflection of how they manage in this state, but I'd highly doubt it.

The way I see it: If the truth hurts, try changing it.
