Darren - when is the show going back to video? Last week in chat a lot of listeners were wondering. I know your preview show a few weeks back was awesome - tell AEBN to get busy on that set - we can't wait!

Are you planning on presenting an accurate and truthful depiction of who and what witches are, or are you simply using them for some sensationalism like every other media person in existence?

I have every confidence that Darren will handle this topic as beautifully as he has handled every other. Last week's show was very difficult... the guest, the topic... it was very emotionally draining to listen to, but even though it was tough, it was something people need to become aware of. Darren somehow found the strength to handle it will class.
I'll be listening tonight most definitely. I've listened to Darren a few times before and he's done a good job.
I just get a bit touchy wherever media and Pagans are concerned - especially since the only time they tend to remember they exist is at Halloween, which only helps to further strengthen the stereotypes and misconceptions about them.
Darren I suspect that you'll have a lot of Wiccans listening tonight, but for those who aren't perhaps you could have your guests go into detail about the *other* holidays we celebrate throughout the year and why they seem to coincide with the Christian calendar.

Many of the Christan holidays were made to coincide with the holidays of older religions as to ease the conversion from many gods to one
example Candlemas is on the winter solstice which is close to Christmas - however if you read the bible it can be interpreted that Christ was born in October (as he was supposed to be 33.5 years of age at his crucification)
