I wondered how many men here go those extra steps in grooming and skin care. Women spent tons of money (or at least most do) on facials, manicures, pedicures, skin care products, hair, etc.
I’ve met some men who purchase an entire line of skin care, get facials and it shows.
What do you do to take care of yourself? Do you feel it’s important?

lol. I've gotten a "sports facial" before at a place my wife used to go all the time in CA. I guess they called it that to make guys feel better.
I actually go about once every other month to get a manicure and pedicure. Not really for the "grooming", aspect... more for the time to relax. This place my wife goes in Tampa gives a really good massage with the pedicures! lol. you can't beat it! much better than the little oriental places in the mall!

Sharky, I agree... it's more then a service. I find it very relaxing. Facials are the same, relaxing.

I would not be againt those kinds of things... the real issue for me is TIME.
I do not have the time to do all of these things on a regular basis... I would rather play some basketball, go fishing, or do things I TRULY like rather then wasting time getting things done to me... Especialy things that are not a medical emergency!
Heck I have my sister come to the office to cut my hair, so I don't have to waste time going somewhere else... ( My sis went to beauty school so its not like one of those "Flowbie" specials)
I may have to rethink all of this though...
I have to admit , Sharky looked pretty nice last time I saw him!!

Am I the only one that snickers when he hears the term "facial" at a salon? I realize it's juvenile to snicker and mutter "how 'bout a bukakke instead?" under my breath, but it really is a great source of amusement....
Oh man!! I can't even conceive of me getting a manicure or facial. I prefer having fur on my face rather than putting gunk on it to make it look smooth!!

I think that all men should get manicures. I hate to see a man with ugly hands and dirty nails, ESPECIALLY when he doesn't work outside.

the time is coming for you to take care of yourselves!! there are more ranges of mens beauty care out these days than ever before, so no more excuses. stop making the women in your life feel your dry feet and scratching nails. have some respect!

I like rough faces and calluses. And if I go out with a guy with buffed, perfectly filed fingernails, it freaks me out.
