The other night MSNBC had a firefight broadcasted for about 1.5 hours, it was riveting - the embeded reporter asked a Marine Lt. Col about taking Baghdad. The Lt. Col said " Marines took Iwo Jima, Baghdad ain't shit!"

HAHA The reporter apologized to the audience for the cursing, but it was good TV! Marines are a special breed of people.

Bush sounded decidedly more upbeat about the war's progress than he has in the past, even beginning his speech with a touch of black humor: "There's no finer sight than to see 12,000 U.S. Marines and Corpsmen unless you happen to be a member of the Iraqi Republican Guard."
