Wasn´t it europe (including France) who said at once, this coward attack is an attack on all your allies also.
Without any restrictions, you could attack Afghanistan straight away...didn´t we (including France) militairy support (taking over peacekeeping forces & ACTIVE duty in that war).

Yes, some Americans think that the war was won between June 44 and May 45 only because of the Western Invasion.
