That is very true about brand, however isn't this why a lot of webmasters post on boards often? Getting your name out there is the key.

Lady Law gave me this advice a while ago. I was on the web in the very beginning but didn't spend time on any boards or networking. Once I started getting my name out there business picked up quite a bit.
