ok the new board has been up for a couple of weeks now so I thought it would be interesting to see how people are liking it or disliking it after some time had passed.

Chatting with CJ as she drove me to my first ex husband's wedding on Saturday, we wondered if it was possible for the board to load in a frame, so that all the flash adverts didn't have to load and reload every time we go into a topic?

It's the extra load time that stops me reading many of the topics...tho I do have to admit the threaded board (here at Oprano at least) is growing on me.

lisa and I thought a frame would at least save from having to refresh it all the time and waiting for it to load ... I've had to start closing the board down when i'm done ;-(

I miss the flat board just because it was like a dinner table. All sitting around and bullshitting, now its like a house party and you have to go into the different rooms to see what everyone is talking about.

CJ - i'll see if we can't slim it down some - the frame thing would work, but smaller resolutions would get all screwy - a lot of scrolling there..
