I guess you all know that pornrumors.com was gone and Serge made a thanks to ScottPB. We all suspected Luke felt the wrath from the allegations Lightspeed benefited from child porn traffic.

Not the case--

Luke Ford quit pornrumors after getting a more lucrative offer from SetGo.com.

I believe Setgo was a webmaster resource site founded by Dig420, later sold to DragonKing....

If you go to SetGo, there is a column on the front called, "Rude Folk"

What I don't get is, why surfer type pornstar news is aimed for webmasters. Is SetGo not a webmaster site anymore?

dig in true dig style is ruining Luke. I've got to give Luke a call.

when Serge hired DUC, i designed the website for him. I wanted to make a really nice site, colors some flash, but Luke wanted no part of it - he wanted the same layout as his original site, nothing fancy, and mostly he wanted the meat of his site, well that's all there really is to his site, that plain vanilla page of text to look the same as it always did, no fancy headings, colored fonts, nada. Wouldn't even let me adjust the size of his fonts.

And he was right.

I just took a peak at Luke's new home at Setgo. He's screwed it all up.

Luke will have no readers now. He was starting to build up his readership again at PornRumors.

You don't mess with the formula that works.

dig is ridiculous . he pays writers who write for sites like Salon to publish articles on Setgo................ what world is he living in where suddenly adult webmasters are intellectuals? Nobody wants that shit on a webmaster resource site, that's why sites like Salon and 10,000 blog sites with people pondering the meaning of their existence and the pop cultural zeitgiest of the day.

Oh and that post on Setgo that was suppsoedly made by "Serge", I just got off the phone with him and he is in the Pacific NorthWest, and has no access to computers. He did NOT make that post.

It is a hoax.

Of course I have a feeling it was done anonymously by one of the members of the unholy aliance to drum but interest and business.

I see Setgo has removed the email link to DUC, and I see the content under "Rude Folk" is aimed at webmasters now.

I hope it works, Luke has "advantages" and annoying the world has made him a stand by himself type of guy, but he has eeked a living from it, so Kudo's to him :-)

If Luke is gonna write, I hope he does not lose his nerve but pray he gets his facts, he is never going to leave this biz, our biz is pure drug for which we are all addicted to the adremaline rush and independence.

Luke has to do whats right for him, and I hope he has learned to chase a dollar. Was it a good move for SetGo or Luke , time will tell now won't it :-)

LOL, Peaches and Mikie, I noted that "Probably Confucy" when Confucy wrote and chuckled, now that is priceless! :-)
